In addition, all pensions calculated in accordance with the legislation will be increased by a fixed amount of 51.33 lei. For those whose pensions are below the established minimum level, the difference will be covered by a solidarity supplement financed from the state budget.
Also today, the cabinet approved a decision that updates the coefficients of valorization of the insured income and the cumulative indexation coefficients of pensions. The new provisions will allow for a more accurate adjustment of insured income in line with the dynamics of the average wage in the economy, contributing to a fairer calculation of pensions.
“All recalculations will be carried out automatically by the National Social Insurance Fund, without the need to submit any documents or applications,” said Labor and Social Protection Minister Natalia Plugaru. – The approximate value of indexation of social payments exceeds 2 billion lei, while the increases in the fixed amount will amount to about 300 million lei”.
