The agreement provides for sponsorship of events held under the auspices of the NOSC, joint campaigns to promote active lifestyles and sports, and the implementation of advertising and image projects.
NOSC President Nicolae Juravschi told Logos Press that the partnership will allow Moldovan sportsmen to prepare better and take a worthy part in the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy and the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
– We are grateful to BOMBA for supporting the Olympic and sports movement in the country for the next four-year Olympic term,” Nicolae Zhuravski said after the signing ceremony. – We hope that the example of this company will be followed by other Moldovan business representatives. It is very important when a company, which holds a leading position on the market, thinks not only about the development of its business, but also about the country, sport and society. Such partnership is an international practice. And it is very significant for us that Moldovan business is in line with these global trends.
BOMBA General Director Mircea Baciu emphasized that the partnership with NOSC did not arise out of nothing. “It is a natural mission for us, because we always promote a healthy lifestyle and support our athletes,” he said. – We want young people to see BOMBA not just as a chain of stores, but as an incentive to play sports. We believe in the potential of our athletes and want as many people as possible to know about their successes. We want the Moldovan flag to be raised as often as possible at international competitions, and especially at the Olympic Games. And every citizen of the country would be proud of it”.
