
The gross balance of credits amounted to 93.9 billion lei, which is 53.4% of the total volume of bank assets. Compared to the end of last year, the volume of loans increased by 16.2%, or by more than 13 billion lei.
The biggest growth was recorded in loans for the purchase or construction of real estate, which increased by 21.3% and reached 22.5 billion lei. Also, the volume of loans granted for trade increased by 13.7% to 19.1 billion lei, while consumer loans increased by 15.1%, reaching 17 billion lei. A sharp dynamics was also recorded in the category “other loans”, where the growth amounted to 65.9% to 3.7 billion lei.
The only segment that registered a decrease was the loans granted to administrative-territorial units, which fell by 11.4% to 970.7 million lei.
As regards the portfolio quality, the share of non-performing loans as of June 30, 2025 stood at 4.5%, 0.4 percentage points higher than at the end of 2024. At the same time, overdue loans fell by 3.1% to 1.5 billion lei, representing 1.6% of total loans, with fluctuations ranging from 0.7% to 4.8% depending on the bank.
