“2025 was a year of growth for the Banca Transilvania Group, with financial results above the market average and the best performance of the last quarter in recent years, reinforcing our leading position. We completed strategic acquisitions and mergers in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. We also completed two rounds of dividend payments. I thank investors, shareholders and customers for their confidence, and the BT Group team for their contribution to these results. We started 2026 with a robust business model, financial discipline and a focus on growth opportunities. We remain committed to supporting the Romanian economy, even in periods of instability such as the one we are currently in,” said Horia Ciorcilă, Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors.

The year 2025 was also marked by regional consolidation of the group. Banca Transilvania completed its merger with OTP Bank Romania, while in the Republic of Moldova the merger between Victoriabank and BCR Chişinău was finalized. At the same time, the group acquired the Romanian managed pension fund BRD Pensii, as well as Microinvest, the leader on the microfinance market in the Republic of Moldova.
