The Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture AIPA accepted for consideration 2595 requests for a total amount of 1426.14 million lei. Most of the requests came from farmers in the “micro” category – 1558. Small-scale farmers sent 651 requests to the specialized agency, and medium-scale farmers – 275 requests. Only 106 requests were received by AIPA from large-scale farmers. In the rearguard – five requests from non-agricultural applicants.
According to AIPA data, 17% of the total number of applications for subsidies were submitted by women, 83% – by men (LP note, waiting for the development of events by analogy with the gradation – “parent #1, parent #2, etc.).
The largest number of applications (978) in terms of specialization are requests for partial compensation of investments in tillage technologies; 351 – for infrastructure of production, processing and sale of crop production; 343 – for plantation establishment.
Representatives of non-governmental organizations predicted that in the short round of accepting applications for post-investment subsidies, farmers are unlikely to have time to submit requests amounting to more than 1 billion lei.
