
This was announced in social networks by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. He emphasized that this achievement was possible thanks to the quality infrastructure, affordable prices and hospitality of Turkish hotels.
“We ended the year 2025 in Antalya with record figures. The Mediterranean tourism capital welcomed 17,122,548 visitors in 2025. Compared to last year, the increase was 1.17%, which shows a steady growth. Thanks to visitors from all over the world, primarily from the Russian Federation, Germany and the United Kingdom, Antalya has maintained its strong position in the tourism sector in 2025”. – noted the Minister.
According to Trading Economics, Turkey’s tourism revenues amounted to approximately $50 billion in the first three quarters of 2025 and increased by 5.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The share of tourism in Turkey’s GDP is more than 12% of GDP excluding related services.
