
ADALVA SRL products were found to contain residual content of veterinary drugs, including an antibiotic (salinomycin). The products were processed as a by-product not intended for human consumption (category II) in a biogas plant, which ensured the elimination of any risk to the health of the country’s population.
Following ANSA regulations, the economic operator revised its production processes to exclude the antibiotic from the premixes used in poultry feed.
As a result of the implementation of the corrective measures and the compliance of the new laboratory samples with the requirements, the authority decided to lift all trade restrictions previously imposed on “ADALVA”. The manufacturer can resume supplying the product to the market, as the current products are safe for consumption.
On the eve of the winter holidays, ANSA Food Safety Agency urges Moldovan consumers to buy food only from authorized retail outlets and to make a responsible choice of goods.
