
State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Charban at the opening of the exposition emphasized its importance as a platform for interaction between those who develop modern technologies, use them and create quality products for consumers. “Here we can learn about the benefits of implementing innovative solutions and modern technologies, ask questions to producers and make informed decisions to modernize our agriculture,” he stressed.
The exhibition also included a dialog between representatives of the ministry and farmers. Minister Lyudmila Katlabuga emphasized the ministry’s commitment to support farmers through effective policies and various subsidy mechanisms. Another topic of discussion was the new law that provides for the creation and organization of Chambers of Agriculture in Moldova. The Minister emphasized that they represent a vital tool to strengthen farmers’ communities and facilitate their access to information, financing and technical support.
“We want this law to be properly understood and applied effectively,” said Ludmila Catlabuga. – The Chambers of Agriculture will be run by farmers and work for their benefit, their success depends on the direct participation of each representative of the agricultural sector in the work of their Chamber”.
