
Despite the fact that it was initiated by the local administration, the complex will have a regional status. The Chisinau City Hall allocated more than 600 thousand lei for the development of the technical project.
It should be noted that Budesti has been developing sports infrastructure for a long time. At present, stadiums, fitness and skateboarding grounds, running tracks and training zones have already been built and equipped in the locality.
Also, a new multifunctional stadium with soccer, basketball, running track and training areas has been commissioned on the territory of Budesti Lyceum. The local administration initiated its construction in the middle of last year. Chisinau City Hall also supported the project, allocating more than 1.6 million lei from the municipal budget.
In recent years, the municipality has allocated over 40 million lei for the expansion of sports infrastructure in the capital’s suburbs.
