The company received a U.S. export license and permission to ship 41,000 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs to the country. The $4 billion project puts Armenia among the top five global clusters of GPUs for AI.
During the press conference held within the framework of the visit of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance to Yerevan, the U.S. Vice President of the United States, Mr. J.D. Vance, announced that the project will be delivered to Armenia.Vance to Yerevan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was quoted by Armenpress as saying that the memorandum signed with the US on semiconductors and AI will make it possible to realize the construction of a factory and a data processing center.
The U.S. Vice President confirmed that the agreement creates new jobs and markets for both countries and includes cooperation with NVIDIA.
The project is already in operation
The second phase of the project is being built on the basis of the first, in which $500 million was invested and Armenia’s first high-performance computing cluster for AI was created.
Together, these phases significantly strengthen the country’s technological infrastructure, opening up research opportunities in biosciences, robotics, space exploration and next-generation AI applications.

The megaproject aims to create a sustainable and competitive technology ecosystem with international partnerships and long-term economic value.
