    The Competition Commission of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) has made a proposal to increase the number of Moldovan players to be used by clubs in Super League matches. With this decision, a limit on foreigners is introduced for the first time since 2019. It is planned to be introduced from next season and tightened by 2028. What is the reason for this decision and how will it affect the clubs of the elite division of the Moldovan championship?     Moldova will be represented at the XXV Winter Olympic Games. The president of the National Olympic and Sports Committee (NOSC), Nicolae Juravski, said in an exclusive commentary for Logos Press that Moldova will be represented by six athletes: four in biathlon and two in cross-country skiing. At the moment, five participants are known for sure, while the sixth one – in cross-country skiing – will be determined within two months before the Olympics. The winter sports season traditionally begins in late November or early December, and the Winter Games will be held from February 6-22, 2026 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in northern Italy.
