New measures have been approved in Moldova to optimize and improve the efficiency of migration management procedures. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, unaccompanied children and families with children who are not Moldovan citizens will no longer be placed under state guardianship in the Center for Temporary Accommodation of Foreigners under the jurisdiction of the General Inspectorate for Migration, and persons in the process of expulsion from Moldovan territory will receive clearer guarantees that their rights will be respected.
