They also cover the monthly remuneration in the amount of the national minimum wage, paid by the employer to the students. Today it amounts to 5500 lei. These are the two most costly items for the enterprises where the students of the vocational education system do their internships. However, as Ludmila Stichy, vice-minister of education, told Logos Press, the money provided by the state for compensations is not fully utilized.
