From September 1, 2025, Moldovan citizens who legally worked in Italy and contributed to the pension system of this country will be entitled to a pension thanks to the interstate Agreement on Social Security between the Republic of Moldova and the Italian Republic, which will come into force, – reports Logos Press.

As of January 1, 2026, a new law will come into force in the Republic of Moldova, which will allow individuals to engage in economic activities without the need to establish a legal entity.

Moldovan citizens will be able to seek alimony payments from parents living abroad. On July 9, the government approved a draft law on the country’s accession to the Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Maintenance, as well as to the Protocol on the Law Applicable to Maintenance Obligations.

From July 18 to 20, the capital will host the festival “Greetings, Chisinau!”, dedicated to the 589th anniversary of the first documentary mentioning of the city (1436).
