Discussions have started in Chisinau on the preparation of an updated general urban plan (PUG) of the capital, the development of which is entrusted to a consortium led by SC ARHICON SRL from Bucharest, Logos Press reports.

The volume of completed construction works for the first 9 months of 2025 increased by 37.3% compared to the same period of 2024, and for the third quarter of the year this indicator increased by 40.2% (in comparable prices) compared to the same period last year – Logos Press reports.

At the end of 2025, Apa-Canal Chișinău JSC is expected to have a deficit of about 45 million lei, which is about 5% of the budget, Logos Press reported.

Plans for the construction of the Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau-Odessa highway, which had been frozen for an indefinite period, are back on the agenda of the relevant authorities in Chisinau. It is also expected to play the role of a new tourist route connecting the three countries. The length of the highway will be more than 320 kilometers, and the construction will cost 1.2 billion euros. Dutch company Heisterkamp Transportation Solutions, one of the continental leaders in transportation and logistics, has announced the expansion of its operations in Eastern Europe by opening a unit in Moldova Technology Park (MITP), – reports Logos Press.
