Winemakers presented their wines from the 2024 vintage at traditional regional tastings. There were three of them – in the IGP Valul lui Traian, IGP ?tefan Voda and IGP Codru zones. 48 enterprises participated in them.
The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) inspected 88 wineries in 2024 (82 in 2023) and 40 specialized warehouses (39 the year before). A total of 186 state control inspections were carried out, including 58 unannounced inspections, not counting participation in joint inspections with other bodies.
Overall wine consumption is currently declining worldwide. And this trend will continue. However, there are some types of wines for which demand is growing. Among them is pet-nat. Why don’t we produce and sell what is fashionable and in demand?
