The Futsal League has chosen stability

Alexandru Golban was re-elected as president of the Professional Futsal League of Moldova (LPFM). The delegates of the LPFM general assembly unanimously supported the candidacy of 46-year-old Golban for a second five-year term.

Uladzimir Kolbasiuc was reappointed as general secretary of the organization. Mihai Anegroae, Boris Bujor, Nicolae Danilă, Ion Pinzar and Konstantin Skrypnic became members of the LPFM Executive Committee. The duties of the censor were entrusted to Andrei Vikolas.

Golban first took the post of president of the Professional Futsal League in 2020, combining it with his position as director of the national beach soccer team. He is a former professional soccer player, having played for clubs Dacia, Milsami, Karpaty (Ukraine), Ceahlăul (Romania), Eintracht (Braunschweig, Germany), Simurg (Azerbaijan) and Tobol (Kazakhstan). Golban played 15 matches for the national team of Moldova, in which he scored four goals.

Prior to his appointment at LPFM, he worked in the structure of the Moldovan Football Federation – director of specialized soccer teams.
