According to the Town Planning Code, the activities of companies and enterprises in construction, from design to production of construction materials, without registration with RSDC will be prohibited in the future. This will make it possible to take full account of all economic entities operating in the construction sector.
Currently, the control of construction activities is difficult due to the fact that the State Inspectorate for Technical Supervision does not have a register with the help of which it would be possible to keep track of all economic entities in this sphere. Moreover, not all companies performing certain construction works are in the field of vision of the Inspectorate. With the introduction of the Register, this situation should be changed.
As Pavel Kaba, the chairman of the Federation of Patronages in Construction Condrumat, noted for Logos Press, after the information about construction companies will be entered in the Register, they should make an official notification about the beginning of this or that construction and be duly registered with the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision. Which will then be able to carry out a full inspection of them. This is due to the procedures stipulated in the Town Planning Code.
“When the first version of the Code was being developed, we proposed to introduce certification of construction and design organizations. But the developers decided that first it is necessary to put the industry in order and create a Register of companies, and then it will be possible to parallel their certification by type of work, purpose of objects, etc.”, – said Pavel Kaba.
By creating this Register, the government aims to modernize and optimize the entire construction sector. This system will allow to ensure stricter quality control of construction works, as well as quick and transparent access to information.
It is assumed that the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development will be the owner of the information system “State Register in the construction sector”, which should ensure legal, organizational and financial conditions for its functioning. Creation, administration, maintenance and development of the Register is entrusted to the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision.
